The SwitchOne technology platform operates on a cloud-based bank-independent financial switch in Southern Africa that focuses on the provision of high-volume, secure, and convenient payment, prepayment, and value-added services to the South African market.
The infrastructure connects to all major South African banks and facilitates the payment of third-party services such as prepaid airtime, prepaid electricity and bill payments for debit, credit card and cash transactions for some of South Africa’s first-tier retailers.
We operate as a South African Reserve Bank approved third-party payment processor (TPPP).
This includes a singular database inter-operable between web-based and mobile transacting channels.
SwitchOne is an entity, through which the SwitchOne management team have built out our technology stack and will look to build the technology-enabled payments business.
